Independent Ink Technologies
(IIT) is Australia's only
completely independent ink technology laboratory and was
formed in 1994 with the purpose of providing an ongoing
stream of world class, locally derived technology to
printing ink manufacturers, raw material vendors, paper
suppliers, printers and the Graphic Arts industry in
general. The company is totally committed to developing
and harnessing technology to ensure the future viability
of these industries.

PAPER
SUPPLIERS
IIT has developed a number of paper testing procedures which are not carried out by paper manufacturers, but rather focus on the printability of the paper and getting ink on to paper. These procedures allow a high degree of confidence in the way in which a particular paper will behave on press and in subsequent finishing operations. IIT works closely with:
